Note: price shown is for diagnostic only. Upon determining the work needed, a Nerd will contact you with a quote. This diagnostic fee is non-refundable but will be applied toward the cost of the repair.

How it Works

Ship Us Your Device

We’ll get some info about your device and the problem it’s having on the next screen. After that, you can choose to arrange shipping the device to us on your own or we can send you a prepaid box and label.

Your Nerd Does His Stuff

We do a diagnostic and figure out what repairs are needed. Then we’ll contact you with a quote & if you decide to have the work done we’ll apply the diagnostic fee to the cost of your repair.

Your Device is Awesome!

After we complete the repairs, we’ll ship your device back to you. Your repair will include 30 days of our Service Plan which covers all online/phone support for no additional charge!

Mail-In Service

Does your device need some hands-on attention from a Nerd, but you live too far to bring it into one of our shops, or have a Nerd come to you?

Our Mail-In service is the perfect way to get your laptop, game console, or storage device in the hands of a trusted Nerd. We’ll get it working again no matter where you live!

When you choose our Mail-In Service, you pay for the diagnostic and the cost to ship your device to us. You can choose to cover shipping on your own from the carrier of your choice or we can send you a prepaid label and box from UPS (which can take 3 – 5 business days to arrive).

Once you’ve completed your shipping selection and purchase, we’ll send you an email with shipping instructions.

Then, simply package up your device (make sure to properly wrap and pad for potential shipping bumps and such!) and drop it at any carrier (if you are handling the shipping) or at the closest UPS store (if we are sending you the label and box).

Once it arrives in our shop, we’ll figure out exactly what’s wrong and send you a quote to complete the repair.

  • If you decide to have us complete the work, the diagnostic fee will be applied to the cost of the repair. We’ll include the cost to ship your device back to you in the repair estimate.
  • If you don’t want to proceed with the repair, no worries! We’ll cover up to $30 in shipping costs to get your device back to you.

With our Mail-In Diagnostic service, we can get your device running again even if you don’t live near a Nerd.
